The Czech producer of unmanned aerial vehicles Primoco UAV SE and Norwegian Special Mission (NSM), provider of airport calibration solutions, introduced a brand new and highly innovative NAVAID calibration system based on the Primoco One 150 UAV and NSM UNIFIS 1000 calibration system. Preliminary analysis suggests that the system is well suited for inspection, calibration and evaluation of a wide variety of airport navigation equipment such as ILS/VOR/DME/TACAN/COM as well as visual systems such as PAPI/VASI. The system is built around the UAV One 150 and UNIFIS 1000 elements, using proven receiver and antenna technology from conventional flight inspection aircraft, which is a new stage for the industry.

The company Primoco UAV SE, which this year started mass production of the One 100 with a maximum take-off weight of 100 kg, is coming out with a new model: One 150. The main difference from the One 100 is a completely new 50 HP engine, which allows the aircraft to reach a ceiling above 5,000 metres (FL150) and an increased amount of useful load. In addition, it is now the only UAV in the country with a transponder and, from the first part of 2017, satellite navigation as well. As a result, interest in the aircraft has significantly increased abroad.
