Primoco UAV launched the development of unmanned aircraft in September 2014 for civilian purposes and started full production in January 2016. In March 2016 the first plane, No. 001 took to the air. For the last 15 months the plane has been through intensive testing and approval to optimise its sophisticated flight and safety systems. The UAV 100 can complete a fully automatic take-off, flight and landing by itself. Notably, 80% of all the components are developed directly by Primoco UAV.
Hundreds of takeoffs and landings have proved the plane’s reliability under operational extremes, ranging from temperatures below –30°C and landing on snow to flights at temperatures above +40°C with intensive rain and humidity and side winds of 20 m/s.

So far the company has produced 25 planes and is gradually increasing its production capacity to 100 planes a year. In the 4th quarter of 2017 the company is planning to launch production in Russia under licence. But the target is not only to address Russia, but also to expand to the Middle East, Africa, South America, China and Australia. The possibilities for the use of a reliable, high performance drone are huge and cover numerous civilian applications.
